Current Projects
Vaccine Registration
Vacunas en su Vecindario (Vaccines in your Neighborhood) is a program started by UVA. Our vision is to bring COVID vaccine clinics to neighborhoods that are mainly populated by the Spanish speaking and Latinx community.

Civic Engagement
UVA Vecinos en Acción brings civic engagement to the Latino Community by having information nights with topics like how to register to vote, reading the ballot, how to run for public office, and bilingual candidate forums.

Advocacy
UVA Vecinos en Acción has joined other community based organizations and agencies to advocate for the equal distribution of ARPA funds for Latinos in California. ARPA is the American Rescue Plan which is federal aid to help alleviate the burdens caused by the COVID 19 Pandemic.
