LISTOS

LISTOS (which means “READY” in English) is a disaster and emergency preparation program originally created by the Latino community of Santa Barbara, California as a response to the lack of preparedness information available in Spanish to vulnerable community members. The program has been a success, spreading throughout the state, increasing equity in the area of emergency preparedness. The training consists of a free 8 hour course taught in Spanish by trained instructors, held at times and locations that work for the Latino Community.

UVA Vecinos en Acción is partnering with LISTOS California to bring this important educational training to Mendocino. Learn strategies and skills that will keep you and your family safe in the event of an emergency.
